And MORE Christmas cards!

Oh, I just love this little digi image from Tiddly Inks! She's so beautiful in whatever color you choose to put her in. For the embellishments on these cards, I just used whatever I had laying around the craft room! Again, those pink pearls have made an appearance. On the light pink card, I used stickles on her collars & cuffs and on the hot pink and red one, I used fun flock. These were so much fun to make!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful day!

Christmas Cards - The Beginning

Good morning! I'm finally getting around to photographing and posting some of the Christmas cards I've made recently! I'll have several to share with you in the next few days/weeks, depending on how I decide to divide them up! So, sit back and enjoy!

First up is this lovely card, which I made for my cousin, Micki. She's 2 days younger than me, so she's always been very special to me. For her card, I've used Winter Marci by Lala Land Crafts.

Isn't she the cutest thing? I know I've said this before, but I believe she is my most favorite of the Marci stamps, though they all are adorable! I'm linking my card up to the customer gallery at Lala Land Crafts, too! You can go there and see all kinds of wonderful creations by many people from all over the world AND if you link your Lala Land Crafts card to the customer gallery, you could get a chance for a free stamp! Isn't that awesome?!? While you're there, you should check out Kathy's card from the customer gallery! It's GORGEOUS!
Back to my card...lol Did you notice the little pink pearls I used in the center of the snowflakes?
I LOVE them!
Have a great day!

Tick or Treat

I'm so in love with the Marci/Luka line at Lala Land Crafts! I've been coloring images and haven't made much, until this week! I finally got halloween treat bags made for my little nieces & nephew. For the girls bags, I used Pumpkin Marci and for the little guy's bag, I used a little dollar Frankenstein stamp from Michaels. I put little black pearls in the "oo" of the "boo to you" stamp so that it looks like little eyes. Enjoy!

Here's a close up of one of the Marci's:

Card for Rylee

I made this card for a lady at work to give to her daughter. I used this digi by Elisabeth Bell. Isn't she beautiful? She looks so much like the girl the card was made for!

You see the pink part of this card? Well, it's actually a pre-scored card I purchased at Michaels. They had 5"x5" cards in packs of 8 with envelopes for only 30 cents a package! The cards have one initial on the front that is easily covered by dp and they are blank on the inside to either decorate or stamp on! I purchased over 40 packs of these cards, mostly white, but some color! (Shhh....don't tell my husband I bought that many!) But that only came up to about $12 for over 320 cards & envelopes! What a deal! And they are so sturdy!

Thanks for coming by to see my card today. Have a wonderful day!

Trick or Treat

Today's card features Pumpkin Marci, which I won from Kristine at Ink Something 2. Isn't she the cutest thing ever?!? I've completely fallen in love with the new Marci & Luka stamps at Lala Land Crafts! I noticed in their store that there will be some new Christmas/Winter Marci & Luka stamps coming out...I'm saving $$ now! lol I did use stickles on various places, but for some reason, the light didn't catch it on this card. Thanks for coming by today!

Have a wonderful day!

Mermaid Tilda

Good evening! Today I'm sharing a card I made for a lady my husband works with. She won a little contest I posted on facebook the other day. I LOVE the way this card turned out and how the photograph turned out! I've used Mermaid Tilda with stickles in various places so that it looks all shimmery in the light. I used organza ribbon and watery looking dp by The Paper Studio. I also used some baubles on the front and glossy accents on Tilda's bubbles. I think she's adorable and Terri loved her! What do you think?

Have a wonderful night!

Super Man or Lois Lane

This evening I've got a card I made using an image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I used stickles on her leggins & tiara and made her boots shiny with glossy accents. On the inside I used a sentiment by TLC Creations that says "I can not always be Lois Lane, sometimes I want to be Superman, too" I love it!

Have a wonderful night!

White on White...

Here's my first attempt at a white on white card. I made this anniversary card for a couple at church who has been married for 50 years! The paper I used is all Neenah and the image is CC Designs. I used copics to color the bride and stickles on her veil and flowers & eyes and a cuttlebug embossing folder for the paper behind the bride.

Well, I hope you enjoyed. Later this evening I'll be posting a photo of a card I made using an image from Mo's Digital Pencil. Have a great afternoon!

Sew beary sweet...

Isn't this little bear adorable? It's the image that Faith at D2D gave away this week! I used this sketch from Sketches by Carly. She's got awesome sketches! I've been dabbling in my scraps bin A LOT lately, so the papers are from there and the flowers I got at Michaels. I put "ink stitching" on the edges of the card, which is the challenge at both Double Delights and Stampin Sisters in Christ-which are my 2 most favorite challenge sites!

Thank you for stopping by today! It was sew beary sweet of you!

Another Dancing Chicken...

Good morning! Today I want to share with you another card that I made using this little dancing chicken from Bella Design Studios. I've just used scraps from other projects on this card, so I don't have a lot of details for you and unfortunately the store where I got this digi is now closed. Good news, though! The challenge at Scrap-Creations: Going Grey Challenges is to use your favorite digi, so this is mine (this week! lol) This little digi just cracks me up each time I see it. I actually made this one for a friend, then I took it to work for the girls to see and they ended up bidding on it! lol SO, I had to make my friend another card. :)

I'll be back tomorrow with my entry for the D2D and Double Delights challenges and I'm using a sketch from Sketches by Carly as well!

I hope you've enjoyed my card as much as I did! Have a wonderful day!

Headed to School

My co-worker, Lisa's little boy Zac started kindergarten this year and as all mother's do, she was unsure about it all, so I thought I'd send her this little card of encouragement. Isn't this little guy adorable??? He's Dundee from Mo's Digital Pencil and you can get him here.
I also bought her a little pack of cute tissues and put a band around them to match the card. It turned out really cute, too, but I didn't get a picture of them.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

Honey Bee Tilda

Here is a photo of the Magnolia-Licious mingle card that I sent to Viviane in Brazil! I'd been wanting to make a card with this little Tilda ever since I got her and I finally got some papers to match, though I can't remember who they are by. I'll try to edit later and let you know. Thanks for stopping by today and remember you can get this little Tilda at the Mangolia-Licious Store! Have a wonderful day!

Dance on, Birthday Girl!

Happy Birthday, Micki!
Today is my beautiful "twin" cousin's birthday! We call each other "twin cousin" because she was born just 2 days after me, so for 2 days I'm technically older than her and she loves it! lol I wanted to share with you the card that I made for her. I LOVE this little digi image from Bella Studio Digis! He's the cutest little thing! I borrowed the majority of this lo from a card on Suzanne Dean's blog, Scrap Bitz. The paper I used is by TPC Studio "Sunny Bunny Chicks" & Snuggle Bug "Little Yallow Bicycle" and I used little dew drops from my lss. The ribbon is from Michaels & I used Prisma Colored Pencils on the little dancing chick.
What do ya think? I love it!
I hope your birthday is super wonderful, Micki!

Summertime Meow...

This week's Double Delights challenge is to make a summer card using Faith's image at Designed 2 Delight. I've decided to send this cheerful little card to Faith's dad. He's had some surgery & is taking time to recover and they're having a card drive for him at Double Delights. Head over there and e-mail her if you'd like to send him a card, too. Enjoy!

Mermaid Tilda

I LOVE this little Mermaid Tilda that Monica sent to me with my Magnolia-Licious mingle card! Isn't she adorable? I chose this fun dp and bright flowers to put her with and made a birthday card for my sister! I also added some blue rhinestone flourishes, but they are a little hard to see in this picture. I also used glossy accents on Tilda's shell top and the bubbles and then I used diamond stickles on her fins & just a tad in her hair. I also like how the picture turned out with a little of the card reflecting on the shelf I had it sitting on.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Gone Fishin'

My apologies that this post will be VERY short. We're all a little under the weather at my house right now and we have a big party we're hosting tomorrow night, so we're trying to get everything done and trying to rest all at the same time! lol It doesn't work too well!

Tonight I have "Gone Fishin' " for you. I've used this week's super fun freebie from Faith at Designed 2 Delight and I've used the challenge at Double Delights, which was to use ribbon, twine or string. Carly also made a cute sketch for us to use at Double Delights, but I felt like I made my image too big to make it work. Don't forget to join in the fun!

Whew! This is my 3rd post for the day! If you're looking for the winner of my SSCC prize, go here. Now, on to this week's Designed 2 Delight and Double Delights challenges! Faith with D2D sent us this beautiful harvest pumpkin image and Kris challenged us to make a Clean And Simple card at DD. My apologies for the photograph quality. I think my camera is going south, and not just for the winter! I used kraft cs from Michaels, Faith's image, some scrap orange cs and this "blessings" stamp from Michaels. I used nesties to cut out the orange cs and the image. Here's the card:

Wow! You are such a fabulous writer! The words that you shared just flowed off of the screen and really ministered to my heart. The verse is so important. I didn't know it when I had to deal with my anorexia and bulimia. (I was Jewish, and we didn't memorize Scripture.) Now, I am dealing with my diabetes and a few other things...and this tells me...it promises me that I am "WONDERFULLY MADE!" THAT is an amazing realization! I have read this verse before, and it never resonated with me as it did today. Thank you for sharing this very fun and cool card, this amazing verse that I won't forget...and your generous and very fun blog candy! Thank you for giving us the chance to win. Stampin Sisters in Christ 1 year Blog Hop!!!

"I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
Psalm 139:14a

Our Birthday Blog hop starts today at the Stampin' Sisters in Christ blog! You'll want to start there and follow along. There are many blessings along the way and chances to win prizes, so we hope you'll join us! I'm honored that they've asked the alumni DT to participate in the blog hop as well as current DT members. All of the blog links will also be on the SSCC blog in case there's a break along the way. This is sure to be a blessed time for all who join in the fun! If you joined me from Chris' blog, then you're on the right track. If not, please start at the Stampin Sisters in Christ Blog so you will be able to be blessed by ALL the DT Sister's creations!

Today I want to share with you what I feel David is saying when he writes in Psalm 139:14a about how wonderfully he was made. God formed us in our mother's womb. He created us in His image, yet as an individual, not a duplicate. We are one of a kind, not one else is exactly like us. He has created every part of who we are, both outwardly and inwardly. God has the perfect blue print to our lives, to who we are. Each one of us is unique and special to Him. YOU ARE SPECIAL IN HIS SIGHT! And, YOU are fabulous!

My "unique & fabulous" creation today features a Sassy Cheryl digi on Cosmo Cricket dp. My fabulous friend has been colored with Prisma colors and parts of her oufit have been highlighted with stickles. The red rhinestones are by Basics, the flowers are from Michaels silk floral department and the sentiment is by Idea House designed for Studio G.

PRIZE TIME! Yes, I love to give away things! So, one random commenter (is that a real word?) on my blog will receive this "fabulous" card along with some stamped images of "unique" little people, some 6x6 dp, some flower brads and a few other embellishments! I'd love to know how this verse has spoken to you throughout your life. I will close this prize opportunity on Wednesday at 11:59pm and draw a winner on Thursday, so check back to see if you won!

Now, head on over to GRACE's blog to hear what the Lord has to say to you through her card & words. And don't forget to stop back by the Stampin Sisters in Christ blog for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to your choice of any one of our sponsor's stores!!!
God Bless You!

Lala Land Christmas Card Challenge

The challenge this week at Lala Land is to make a Christmas card and sadly, it's their last challenge! But, they've got something up their sleeve, so keep checking them out! I've used Birthday Marci on my card. I picked her up when she was available as a digi, but now you can only purchase her in rubber when she's released. I used kraft cs from Michaels, dp by Cosmo Cricket, pearls by Basics (check our her earrings!) & stickles.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hmmm...

What do you do when you're out of time and you're not happy with the results you've gotten from your card? You enter anyway and hope that it's not as bad as you think! Really, it's not that bad, I just wish I would have used a second dp instead of using the same one on the same card twice. You'll see what I mean below...

So, on to brighter things! I won a stamp in the Lala Land Crafts Birthday Beach Blog Hop! I'm uber excited about that! It's a surprise stamp and I know I'm going to love it!

This week's Double Delights Challenge is a sketch challenge. You can see it here. The free image from Designed 2 Delight was this adorable little bear. I used Recollections dp from the mom's diner collection. It's called Pepper. The brown cs I used is also from Recollections. I used a scalloped circle punch to make circles in which I put non-scalloped circles of dp inside. I used buttons by Bo Bunny and pearls from Studio G. Enjoy and don't forget to join the challenges!!!

Heartfelt Winter Wishes

Good evening! Remember the title of my last post? "Try it, you might like it"? Well, I did try it and I did like it! I liked it so much that I made another shaker card for this week's Design 2 Delight & Double Delight challenges! The real challenge was to make your own embellishments, so I used a snowflake nestabilities to punch out these snowflakes and used one to look like a charm below my bow. I used Faith's free image of the week (the snowman & sentiment) and put him inside of a snowglobe digi that I found at Bird's Cards. I got this snowman in snowglobe idea from the Double Delights Challenge blog (Kathy put hers in a snowglobe, too!) and I used Kristine's idea of rubbing 2 pieces of styrofoam together to create "snow" to put inside the snowglobe (I even put a little on the outside). These ladies at Double Delights are a barrel full of awesome inspiration & ideas! I just love 'em both incredibly! The dp I used is by the Paper Studios and I also used stickles on the snowflakes to give them some sparkle. Enjoy!

Try it, you might like it!

Welcome to my "try it, you might like it" blog post. This week at Lala Land, the challenge is to make a shaker card. I've never done this because it looked really hard. I've really wanted to, but again, I thought it would be too hard. Well, thanks to this wonderful SCS tutorial they linked to in the challenge, I was able to make this card so easily! I used mega deckled rectangle nestabilities to make the shaker package from Bo Bunny's back to backs Mellow Yellow Dot cs and used some pink glitter on the inside. The dp is from echo park paper co's Sweet Summertime collection. It's called pinwheels. The birthday sentiment is by Kolette Hall and of course the star of the show is Birthday Lala (I cut her hair again!). I used stickles in various places to add some sparkle. Oh, I also paper pieced the present she's holding! I hope you enjoy and try something new today, you might like it!

Lala Land Challenge

This week's Lala Land challenge was to make a black & white card using just 1 other color. I chose to use hot pink, though some of the pink doesn't quite look hot! lol I've used Mermaid Lala, Bo Bunny black & white polka dot cs, a white prisma flower with hot pink polka dots (which I cut in half), hot pink ribbon, stickles & dew drops (I was going for some sort of bubble look...not sure if it worked out that way or not, though!)

Join the fun at Lala Land and you could win a $10 credit to the store! Awesome!

D2D & Double Delights

Hi! Here's my card for the D2D & Double Delights challenges this week. I've never made a card with a chicken on it, but I really like how this turned out. It's simple and could be used for a variety of occasions! You can see in the picture that I cut out a second chicken and "popped" him up (which is this week's challenge at Double Delights). The dp I used is by Karen Foster, the image, of course, is from Designed 2 Delight, flowers by Prima & rhinestones by Kaiserkraft. I also used yellow stickles in the scallops of the circle I cut with nestabilities. The brad is from some that I've had forever and I don't know where I got them.

So, don't forget to join in the fun at D2D and Double Delights! You'll be so glad you joined them!

Double Delight & Designed 2 Delight

Today I have my first entry for the Designed 2 Delight challenges as well as my entry to the very first Double Delight challenge!

Designed 2 Delight gives away an image at the first of the month and if you use it to enter their challenge, Faith will send you the image for the 2nd week of the month for free, then if you use that to enter their 2nd week challenge, she'll send you the image for the 3rd week and so on. See how that works?

Double Delight challenge is to use the image of the week from D2D along with another type challenge. This week it was to make a tent card or a tent topper card. I've never made a tent card, so that is the one I chose to make. I also had to cut down the image, so I cut off the outer scallops and used just the inside circle with "wish".

What do you think?

Ingredients:
CS-Bazzill
DP-Scraps, I think from Michaels, though
Wish-digi by D2D
Sentiment & present-Kolette Hall
Balloons-digi by Fred She Said
Brad-stash from long ago
Embrodery floss
Nesties
Stickles
Glossy Accents

Join the fun, too, at D2D & DD!

Blessings!

Happy Independence Day

Good evening! I already have another card to share with you today!!! It was super easy and so cute! I used dp by Reminisce & American Crafts. You probably can't tell by this horrible picture, but the striped dp and blue dp are both shiney. I used this adorable little summertime Tilda, stickles and rhinestones. I picked up some "In Stitch'z" by Bazzill to use to create my flourishes. I think I need to work on those flourishes, but I think it will come in time. :)

I'm entering this card in the follow challenges:

Here's a fun little card I made with Ballerina Tilda that you can get right HERE at Magnolia-Licious! I used a SU butterfly wheel with versamark ink to make the background on the pink cs. I used flowers from Michaels & rhinestones from my lss for the middle of the flowers. I also used stickles to add sparkle to parts of the image and sentiment, which I printed on my computer.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Father's Day Card

Today I have for you a Father's Day card that I made for my husband. I used this Tigger stamp from All Night Media because my 15 yo. old reminds me of Tigger. He's so bouncy and fast! These beautiful papers are from My Minds Eye and buttons are from Bo Bunny. The sentiment was a freebie that I picked up, but can't find the author of it right now. Of course, I couldn't complete a card without using Stickles! I used black stickles on Tigger's stripes. I also renewed my love for the distressing too from Making Memories. It's such a fun little tool!

So, without further ado, here's my card:

The card qualifies for a couple of challenges:
Cute Card Thursday, which is a sketch challenge from Claudia
Stampin Sisters in Christ, which is a challenge by Lisa to make a Father's Day card

Join in on all the fun! There might even be a prize or two that you can win!

KLSNS Challenge

Hi! This week at KLSNS, the challenge was to make a birthday girl card. I made this one using some dp that I picked up at my lss and ballerina tilda. The flowers I got from my lss, too, and used my copics to color them then I put little rhinestones in the center of each flower. I picked up the sentiment stamp from Hobby Lobby MANY years ago, but I use it on almost every birthday card I make. It's one of my most favorite sentiment stamps!

Isn't this ballerina Tilda just adorable? Want to know where you can get her? Well, at Diana's Magnolia-Licious store, of course! Right HERE! The new Fairy Tale collection is my favorite!
Have a wonderful day!

A new card, FINALLY! :)

Wow, I must greatly apologize to you all for not having a new card up in months! I've been staying busy, but I've finally had time to create some new stuff that I hope you'll enjoy! Today I'm sharing a card with you that I made for a shower gift for my friend, Jessica. She's having a bouncing baby boy! I got this adorable little frog from her invitation. I cut out the shape of the card with my largest scalloped circle nesties. The stamps I used were from SU and Michaels. I used stickles in the scallops. I attached all 3 circles with a silver brad.

Well, that's a little of the fun I've been having! I hope you enjoyed and that you'll come back again in a few days to see what else I can get posted!
Have a wonderful week!
Blessings!
