As I mentioned above, this is the final Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge. It is very sad that we're closing these amazing challenges, but I know that God has used this group to reach many people and if it's in His will, it will be back someday! I never thought I'd belong to a design team, let alone one with the most amazing and wonderful women who are sisters in Christ! This group means the world to me and I'm forever grateful to Kris for seeing something in my cards that I just didn't see and for welcoming me into this group several years ago and again last year. I won't be too much more mushy and sentimental, but I want each of you ladies at Stampin' Sisters in Christ to know just how much you really mean to me. I love each one of you and will never forget you and the time we've spent together praying for each other and sharing our lives. A song comes to mind when saying our good-bye today, and I just want to say "A friend's a friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them." Thank you, ladies for your love, friendship, prayers and wonderful amazing creativity that you've shared with the world!

One final word, remember
JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON
no matter what season that is in your life!
Blessings!

Broken and Put Back Together

Good morning! I'm so glad you've stopped by today! Here are the details about this week's Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge:

Hostess:
Moi, hehe

Scripture:
Psalm 147:3 "He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds" (NIV)

Challenge:
Use something "broken and put back together" on your card.

Sponsor:
Clear Dollar Stamps who is generously offering a $15 credit for their digital stamps

My Card:
See how I cut the image apart and put it back together? That's how we are when we come to Jesus. We're broken and He puts us back together.

The image I used is from Whimsy Stamps. It's called "Kaydance" by Elisabeth Bell. I won her and one other stamp on a facebook contest last week. Isn't she adorable?!? Those beautiful brads are from my wonderful friend, Vicki of Pink Posh Cards. We got the change to craft together one day last month at Diane's house (the Diane of Diane's Daydream Designs). It was SO MUCH FUN!!!

Don't forget to enjoy all the other Sister's blogs and have a blessed day!

Birds of a feather...

Hey y'all! Today I wanted to share with you a card I made using Daydream Designs Owl Always Love You color digi set. I tried to make it look a little rustic, so it may not appeal to everyone, but all the little owls on it made me smile. Kind of  reminds me of my family tree...lol
Enjoy!
See how the couple on the second branch seems to have the boy one oogling over the girl one? That cracked me up!

Have a blessed day!

Prayer and Thankfulness

Let's get down to business, shall we?

Hostess:
The Gracious Lady Diane

Scripture:
Colossians 1:3-5-- We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people— the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel.

Challenge:
Create a card or project depicting thankfulness or prayer. It can be a Thanksgiving card/project, a thank-you note, or an "I'm Praying for You" type card/project.

Sponsor:
Our wonderful friend, Kelly Little

My Card:
I made this card for my friend, Jessica. She lost her mom earlier this year to breast cancer and has been going through a really rough time. I wanted to let her know that she is loved and that I am praying for her. Also, this little Magnolia looks so much like her beautiful little daughter that I just HAD to use it! I thought it would put a smile on her face just seeing the little girl on the card.

May the Lord bless your week beyond measure!
