LaLa Land Challenge

This week's challenge at La-la Land Crafts is to make a card using the "shabby chic" style. Making this style of card is becoming easier as more paper and embellishments already come in this style. For my card, I used sitting Lala. This time, I left her hair alone!
CS-SU
DP-Fancy Pants (pink); scrap bin (blue/brown)
Stamp-Lala Land
Sentiment-Michaels
Embellishments-Stickles; baubbles from my LSS
You HAVE to join in the fun at La-la Land this week! Irina's giving a $10 credit to her store that can be used to purchase any rubber stamp! Plus, the new Princess Lala is on sale until tomorrow night only for 20% off! AND, there's a 40% off sale on several other Lalas that were from the original release! Check out the blog for more details!
Have fun stamping!

Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge

Here's the card I made for this week's Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge. The challenge was to use flowers on your card. I found this fun saying and wanted to use it, but didn't have an image with pjs, then I remembered that I had this image from Mo's Digital pencil and it worked out perfect! I used fun flock on her shoes to make them look like slippers and used stickles on the little crowns on her top. I think she's just adorable!

Gettin' Scrappy with Lala Land...take 3

Yes, one more for the Lala Land "scrappy" challenge, but I think it's the last! lol This was actually the first one I made! It's featuring Sitting Lala (have you noticed the hair alterations on the last 2 cards? Don't know what's up with that, but I wanted them with short hair, so now I'm the official "Lala Hairdresser" and yes, I named myself that!) This time I know the paper came from the dollar store, only because I remember using it! I used stickles to make the lines sparkle as well as some of the dots. The sentiment, flowers & rhinestones are from Michaels.
Since I used "bling" on this card, I'm going to enter it in the KLSNS "Bling it on" challenge.
Don't forget to check out the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge blog! I didn't get a card made for this week, but I'm ready to see the new challenge they'll have tomorrow!
Blessings!

Gettin' Scrappy with Lala Land...take 2

Again, here is a card I made for the Lala Land Crafts "lets get scrappy" challenge! I used Birthday Lala, a sentiment & image from a SU set, stickles, & a rhinestone from Michaels. I'll also enter this in the KLSNS "Bling it on" challenge, though it only has 1 little bling on it. Fun challenge names, don't you think?

Yes, there's still more to come! lol

Gettin' Scrappy with Lala Land...take 1

This week's Lala Land Crafts challenge is all about "Gettin' Scrappy" which translates to "get rid of some of those scrap pieces of paper laying around your desk by making a card for us!" lol

So, I did just that...several times! My first card/post features Window Lala. This one is probably my most favorite. Other than Lala I can only tell you that the stamps I used in the bottom corners are from a SU set that I have, the "bling" including the butterflies are from Michaels, the wood of the window & flower box are from wall paper samples, I used stickles & flowersoft (for the first time ever!) I don't have a clue about the other papers, as they were scraps!
This card also qualifies for the KLSNS challenge, which is to use "bling"
I'll have another post a little later this evening! Enjoy!
Blessings!

Help me decide...

Ok, so I need to make a decision on which new Lala Land Crafts stamp I'm going to get and I'm enlisting YOUR help!

Here's what I need you to do...
1. Go HERE to see all the Lala stamps
2. Leave me a comment with the name of the Lala stamp you think I should get

What's in it for you? Oh, some goodies from my goodie collection, since you've been so kind to help me in my decision making!

I'll keep this open until tomorrow noon (CST), then I'll let you know which one has the most votes and I'll choose a winner from those who selected the winning Lala!

I do already have, or have plans to purchase the following Lala's, so they do not count!
Birthday Lala, Window Lala, Mermaid Lala & Lala with Rose

Have fun and thanks for your help!
Blessings!

I used dp that I found at the dollar store, digi stamp (I'm so sorry I can't remember who it's by!), sentiment by Stampibilities, Bo Bunny buttons & hemp twine by SU (my organic material)
Enjoy!

Anniversary...

Today, my husband and I have been married for 5 whole years! I know that doesn't seem like a long time, but to someone who started to belive that there wasn't that one out there for her, that's a wonderfully long time! God has truely blessed me and my son with this incredible man and I'm so thankful for him. I wanted to share the card I made for him with you. I used Lala with a heart from Lala Land Crafts. I colored her to look as much like me as I could! My dp is from My Minds Eye, sentiments were picked up along with the rhinestone flourish & pearls (in her hair) from Michaels. I also used stickles on her ruffles and in the scallops of the oval I cut out with my nesties and then I used glossy accents on the heart and her shoes.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. It qualifies for the Lala Land Crafts challenge, as well as the KLSNS Challenge and the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge. And, seriously, I didn't plan that! lol
Husband, if you're reading this...I love you very much and I'm proud to be your wife of 5 years! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
PS I hope you found your card in your sock drawer BEFORE you found this on my blog!
Have a great day, everyone!
Blessings!

Wish...

Hi! Today I'm sharing the birthday card I made for my sister-in-law. I used sitting Lala (I think that's what she's called) from Lala Land Crafts, some blue cs, wish rhinestone & other rhinestones from Michaels, white cs from SU, a bow and some stickles. I also used a SU stamp for the white dots. The gift bag I used for Katie's present was this same blue with white polka dots. They looked so cool together! Enjoy!

Have a wonderful day!
