A Daisy for YOU!

Welcome to my colorful world today! I'd like to share with you a card I made for Daydream Designs featuring "Daisies Just for You" I chose to make it a bright and cheerful card, cause well, I just like these colors! lol When I first saw this image I knew it was for me! I LOVE daisies and this image has a little bit of a whimsical look to it, so I fell in love instantly!

I kind of "got my sparkle on" with this card! Isn't it darling?!? The tag says "Just For You" and there are other sentiments in Diane's store that would be perfect with this card. Go check out Daydream Designs! There are some awesome new images, sentiments and digital paper packs availabe this week! THEY ARE AWESOME!!!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you're feeling blessed!

A work of His hand...

Yeah! It's time for our Sunday Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge! You want the details??? Well, here ya go!

Hostess:
The very talented and awesome Diane

Scripture:
Isaiah 64:8 Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Challenge:
Use punches, dies, or shapes of any kind.

Sponsor:
Our good friend Kelly Little is offering a bag of goodies to one blessed winner! Be sure to stop by her blog and thank her and to check out her awesome work!

It took me a while to come up with something for this challenge. I guess maybe sometimes I try too hard to make it so perfect that I forget to just have fun! So, I found some adorable tags by Danielle at Fat Cat Stamper and thought they were a perfect creation to copy! I changed mine up a little, but you can see hers by clicking on her blog name. I was going to use my little pinwheel dies like hers, but I couldn't find my dies! So, here's what I came up with:
I used my nesties: snowflake, scallopped circle and circle. The tag is cut out from my coluzzle tags (ancient, I know, but I still use it sometimes!) The patterned paper is scraps from Christmas 2 years ago. I used liquid pearls on the right two and stickles on the left one. I used stickles on all the snowflakes.

If you haven't already read our devotion on the Stampin Sisters in Christ blog, you must! It's a wonderful devotion straight from the Bible and Diane's heart!

Have a blessed week!

Every Word...

Good morning! Happy Son-Day to ya! It's time for another wonderful Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge! I'm also debuting my first card for Daydream Designs! Here are the details for the challenge:

Hostess:
Our Sweet, Southern Candace

Scripture:
Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him."
Just stop and picture that for a moment! We're shielded when we put our trust in God. Not when we put our trust in ourselves or in our abilities or in anyone else, but in God. Just a thought to ponder! TRUST HIM! :)

Challenge:
Use a sentiment only - no images!

Sponsor & Prize:
Our Daily Bread Designs - they are offering one random winner a $15 gift card to their store! Please be sure to visit their store and let them know how much you appreciate them!

You could also win one of our "Shining Star" awards! One of those would look amazing on your blog!

My debut card is featuring Daydream Designs "Friendship Collection" which is a wonderful collection of sayings perfect for cards to send to old and new friends. Be sure to check out all the digis at Daydream Designs and come back often to see all the new things Diane is adding to the store! They're fun and inspirational and just awesome!!!

There's no place like home...

...there's no place like home, there's no place like home. Can't you just see me clicking my sparkling red heels together 3 times? LOL I know, it might seem kind of cheesy, but when our awesome hostess, Traci, at Stampin Sisters in Christ challenged us to "create a card that depicts something that says 'home' to you" I thought this was perfect! Going home for me means going where my family is, where I grew up, where my heart is. I grew up in a small Kansas town, most of my family is around here and so Kansas is where my heart remains. I thought it was only fitting to do a "Wizard of Oz" theme!

The verse Traci chose for inspiration this week is John 14:1-6 "Do not let your heart be troubled;believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father'S house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am , there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going."
Our sponsor this week is DRS Designs and they are offering one randomly drawn winner a $10 store voucher! Please be sure to thank them for their generosity! They have a ton of gorgeous images!

I chose this adorable image from Mo's Digital Pencil called "Kansas" used my copics to color her and Toto then added stickles to her shoes and bows and ruffles on her dress. The paper is from a digital paper pack I bought from Sassy Designs called "Emerald City". The sentiment I printed from a free font on my computer (I didn't save it, so I don't remember which one I used!) I used copics to color the inside of the letters of it. I used red liquid pearls and the sunflower stickers are by Recollections.

I do hope you've enjoyed my card and that you will visit the other sister's blogs as well for their interpretation of this challenge! Most importantly I hope your day is blessed and you draw closer to the Lord after reading Traci's devotion on the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge blog!
And remember...follow the yellow brick road.
