Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Christmas! I didn't get more than a moment to craft this week, so I hope to get some catching up done next week-end! Let's get to today's Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge!

Hostess: Lisa Hjuberg, one of our awesomely talented senior dt members

Scripture: Psalm 25:4-5 "Show me your ways, Oh, Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God, my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."

Challenge: Create a New Years Card

Sponsor: Regina Easter of "The Cutting Cafe" <-- check out their stamps, awesome!

I used a Happy New Year digital stamp from our sponsor, The Cutting Cafe, and the "Reaching for the Stars" digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil. I also used a star stamp from SU. The white and yellow cardstock is from SU and the blue is from an old stash I have. I used Prisma colors to color the image and stickles on the stars. I used a gold glitter pen around the sash and on the Happy New Year stamp.

I hope you'll take the time to join us for this week's Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge!
Blessings!

Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge

Good afternoon! Please accept my apologies for this late post! Between graduations, holiday parties and shopping for my family, I didn't get this done before church this morning! Well, I'm home now, and here's the information for today's Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge:

Hostess: Awesome and super talented Kathy Winter of Winter Creations, she's a senior DT member and one of the founders of Stampin Sisters in Christ!

Scripture: Luke 1: 26-32: 26In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. 28The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."
29Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. 32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David." (NIV)

Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge...

Welcome to today's Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge!

Our Hostess - The Awesome & Uber Talented Ceal Pritchett of Simply Beautiful

Our Scripture - 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Our Challenge - The challenge is to make a card or project using images of people (ie..children, men, women) to let someone know you are praying for them.

Our Sponsor - Korin Sutherlin of Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps <---- AWESOME!

Prayer is so imortant and I think it's just as important to let someone know that you're praying for them. That is why this week's challenge was so much fun for me. I just love sending people little "blessings" like cards to let them know I'm thinking about them! For this card, I decided to make something "boyish" because boys need to know we're praying for them, too! Anyway, here's my card:

Ingredients:
DP-I can't remember! It's from my stash. :)
Image-Mo Manning
Sentiment-Printed on my computer
Ink & CS-SU
Buttons-Bo Bunny
Brads-Again, from my stash!

I do hope you'll join the fun this week at the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge blog!

Blessings!

Thank you for all your awesome comments! Wasn't it fun to visit these blogs to see what they are doing? I just love "blog hopping" all day long. I'll be on a blog and see one that they're linked up to and head over there, and it just keeps going and going and going! lol But everyone has such great ideas and inspirations that somedays my eyes go buggy because I've been staring at the computer all day long! lol

Have a wonderful day everyone!
