Tissue box for Gabby

Good morning y'all! Today I'm excited to share with you a kleenex box that I made for my friend's niece. She just had surgery on her back and I wanted to give her a little something fun to cheer her up. I hope this little bear and his bees do the trick! I'm aslo excited because I get to enter this into some challenges, which I almost never do! I'll list those below for you. Before I show you my project, I wanted to let you know that Sketches by Carly has "birthday candy" that she's giving to one person who enters her latest sketch challenge. You could also win one of her adorable badges to put on your blog! Check it out and don't forget to look through her blog for awesome sketches to use on your cards & projects!
Here's my kleenex box!
Straight on view:

Challenges I get to enter this in:
Hotspot - Case a Cake Challenge (I used "Shades of Yellow" for my inspiration)
Sketches by Calry - Sketch Challenge (had to move the sentiment because it was too big!)

You can find the tutorial for this kleenex box here. It's so easy and fun to make!

Thanks for stopping by! May your day be blessed with grace & compassion, both for you and from you!

My Sister, My Friend

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a card with you that features an image by Whimsey and Stars Studio called "Best Friends" Aren't they sweet? I also used a pennant stamp I picked up in the Michaels $1 bin a few weeks ago. I thought it was fun with this paper. These flowers were also purchased at Michaels, most of them in the $1 bins! The pearls are by Basic. The paper....I'm so sorry I can't remember who it's by and I always forget to write it down! I know I got it at my local scrapbook store! I hope you enjoy my creation today!
Blessings!

Cards for Gabby

Happy Monday morning to you! I'm here to ask a favor! My friend's 11 year old niece, Gabby, is having surgery on her back this week for Spina Bifida and I was hoping to maybe get a few cards gathered up to send to her. She's getting 2 rods and a bunch of screws put into her spine to help make it straghter. Gabby's been through a lot, she's had Lukemia and other issues and now this. I know she's very strong and obviously this little girl has a HUGE purpose for being on this earth still! Could you spare a card this week for her? I don't have anything to offer, except my thanks for helping me make this little girl feel special. If you can send her a card, please e-mail me for my address: stampinwithelen at hotmail dot com and if you could pass the word along to others, that would be awesome! Thank you and have a wonderfully blessed day!

Bugaboo Challenge...

Bugaboo digi's are some of my favorite! They have clean lines and large spaces and are usually sort of whimsicle. This month over at their challenge blog, they are having an "anything goes" challenge. I've been wanting to enter one of their challenges and now I am finally able to! I made this card for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. I put together 2 different Bugaboo stamps, Deacon Heart and Ava Heart. I used Deacon twice. I colored them to match our family. My MIL loved it!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Oh the Places Marci will go

There's a contest going on over at Lala Land Crafts to make anything with their images, other than a card. I LOVE those little Marci's that they have out now so I wanted to do something really cool to showcase how awesome they are to use. I hope you found those little magnetic paper dolls as cute and as fun as I do. I've even created a book to go along with them, so little Marci can go places. Here are the pictures.
As you can see, the extra clothes are magnetic and so is Marci, so they stick together. Magnetic paper is from Hobby Lobby and Office Depot. I've used little scraps of dp to make all the little dresses. The Marci's I've used are: Ballerina Marci, Bed Time Marci, Fancy Marci and Marci with Rose.
Blessings!

D2D Polka Dot Flower Pot

Well, hello there! Thanks for stopping by! Today's card uses a digi image from Designed 2 Delight's Bloom, Grow, Dream set. It was a free image from their monthly challenge. I think it's so pretty!

I've used scraps for this card! Some pearls left over from another project, those lovely roses that I got from a garage sale and paper scraps. I think I save EVERY little bit of paper I've ever touched! lol That's why I can use "scraps" so often!

Thanks for coming by! Have a wonderful day!

Blessings!

Just For You, Mom

Good morning! Today I have another Mother's Day card to share with you! This one features Tilda holding a bouquet behind her back. Isn't she darling with flowers for mom? If you want her check out the Magnolia-Licious store! I don't think she's in stock, but if she's available, I bet Diana would be willing to order one for ya!

Those little roses on the right are ones I picked up at a garage sale last summer! Isn't it crazy that someone would get rid of those gorgeous little things?!? :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Blessings!
