Word Art Wednesday - Isaiah 54:17

I wanted to start off this post with the verse for this week's Word Art Wednesday challenge because it's a verse that means so much to me right now. My husband and I are trying to find a baby to adopt, we're almost approved with a completed home study (just a bit more paperwork) and each time we get to feeling good about things, something happens that puts doubt in my mind. I feel like we're being attacked for wanting to do something good, something that we feel the Lord put on our hearts to accomplish. So, this verse over the past few days has been a huge blessing to me.

Here are the details of our challenge this week:

Challenge:
Use the verse above, which you can pick up at the Word Art Wednesday blog
or use an uplifting sentiment on your creation.

Sponsor:
She's offering 2 digital collage sheets of the winner's choice!

My Creation:
I've created a wall hanging that I'm going to send to a friend who is also going through some struggles right now. I'm sending it to her with prayers that she will continue doing the good thing the Lord has asked of her and that He will bless her and give her strength during times of struggling.

The background is digital paper from Daydream Designs from the "My Heart Still Dances" collection. The flowers are from a digital scrapbook I downloaded and then I used stickles to give it some sparkle. I also "antiqued" the edges with a brown ink pad. I hope you enjoyed!

Have a blessed day!

Oh, this is soooo pretty, Helen. I love it. I thought the verses looked great for masculine projects, but this...oh,my! Being on the pink is just gorgeous. Love the other digi elements too...and of course, as we know, sparkle is always good! ;) Love it.
