Stampin Sisters in Christ 1 year Blog Hop!!!

"I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
Psalm 139:14a

Our Birthday Blog hop starts today at the Stampin' Sisters in Christ blog! You'll want to start there and follow along. There are many blessings along the way and chances to win prizes, so we hope you'll join us! I'm honored that they've asked the alumni DT to participate in the blog hop as well as current DT members. All of the blog links will also be on the SSCC blog in case there's a break along the way. This is sure to be a blessed time for all who join in the fun! If you joined me from Chris' blog, then you're on the right track. If not, please start at the Stampin Sisters in Christ Blog so you will be able to be blessed by ALL the DT Sister's creations!

Today I want to share with you what I feel David is saying when he writes in Psalm 139:14a about how wonderfully he was made. God formed us in our mother's womb. He created us in His image, yet as an individual, not a duplicate. We are one of a kind, not one else is exactly like us. He has created every part of who we are, both outwardly and inwardly. God has the perfect blue print to our lives, to who we are. Each one of us is unique and special to Him. YOU ARE SPECIAL IN HIS SIGHT! And, YOU are fabulous!

My "unique & fabulous" creation today features a Sassy Cheryl digi on Cosmo Cricket dp. My fabulous friend has been colored with Prisma colors and parts of her oufit have been highlighted with stickles. The red rhinestones are by Basics, the flowers are from Michaels silk floral department and the sentiment is by Idea House designed for Studio G.

PRIZE TIME! Yes, I love to give away things! So, one random commenter (is that a real word?) on my blog will receive this "fabulous" card along with some stamped images of "unique" little people, some 6x6 dp, some flower brads and a few other embellishments! I'd love to know how this verse has spoken to you throughout your life. I will close this prize opportunity on Wednesday at 11:59pm and draw a winner on Thursday, so check back to see if you won!

Now, head on over to GRACE's blog to hear what the Lord has to say to you through her card & words. And don't forget to stop back by the Stampin Sisters in Christ blog for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to your choice of any one of our sponsor's stores!!!
God Bless You!

Such a cute card, and a lovely verse to go with it. It is truly amazing to know that we are, each and every one, different and special in His eyes.

what a wonderful verse and something we all need to be reminded of from time to time. I think kids and teens need to really lean on it as that is the time we tend to struggle with our differences the most.

The card is just too cute too :)

Helen, what a cutie on your card. This scripture is such a great reminder that we were specially created. As much as we love the things we create, I can't even begin to imagine how much God loves his creation that he would die for it! I hope you have a blessed day today~!

God created me to be great, perfect in His image. And the last time i checked, nothing is better;) All I need to do, is to take care of his artwork... :)

Your card is so cute! I like your verse although sometimes I forget that about myself! I think this verse is especially important for young girls and teens to remember--they don't have to buy into the lies of this world and the boys who ask them to do things they shouldn't because they are made through GOD who loves them!!! Thanks for a chance at a giveaway, too!

what an adorable card! i sometimes forget (ok - often forget) that "I" am wonderfully made; instead of focusing on my negatives, i need to focus on the good qualities i have.

Your card is so cute! I think as women we struggle with the fact that we are wonderfully made the most - we are often critical in ourselves and just need to stop and look at ourselves the way God does! If God has a fridge your picture would be on it!

Thank you Helen for a really delightful card, and that scripture is one that God used to help heal me - there are still times I struggle with it, but then I am a 'work in progress' :-)

What a bright, happy card!! The verse reminds me that even when I'm not feeling like I'm very valuable, the Lord thinks I am.

Your card just makes me smile, such a cute image and so happily portrayed here!! This verse just reminds me that we are all unique and each of us has been given a one of a kind, fingerprints of God on our soul that is so very dear to God's heart.

Such a cute card! This verse became important to me as a teenager when I was so painfully shy & had very little self confidence....it gave me hope to know that God had made me just the way I was!

Clare said...

Why is it so hard for us to believe that we are fabulous, and wonderfully made? Think about how your body repairs itself, and how we can feed our babies with it! Our hands are created so that we can create! Our bodies are made in His image that we might walk upright! God is also wonderful! If He says it, we should believe it! Your card is so cute! You are fab!

freida said...

Oh this image says it all!!! LOL What an adorable card and it is SOOO perfect for this fabulous verse! :) As a former 1st grade teacher, this scripture really hits home! It is vital for each of us to praise our children and make them aware of how special each of them are in their own special way. After all, "God didn't make no junk!"

I am a PK so I always knew that God had created me and knew that I was fearfully and wonderfully made. However, in January 2009 that became a reality. I was diagnosed with a kidney disorder that I found out that I had had since birth. By God's grace I was able to find out (before most people would have found out) and am now able to control most of the issues with diet. That verse really meant a lot to me during that time.

What a terrific card! So sweet and wonderful colors - I have always loved this scripture :) Beautifully done - TFS!

Awesome card!!!! Love the colors, shimmer and darling image.

This verse speaks to me, because it reminds me that God made me the way He wants me to be. Due to my being disabled and the impact that has on my life, I've had to learn to rest in the fact that I am who God wants me to be.

Wow! You are such a fabulous writer! The words that you shared just flowed off of the screen and really ministered to my heart. The verse is so important. I didn't know it when I had to deal with my anorexia and bulimia. (I was Jewish, and we didn't memorize Scripture.) Now, I am dealing with my diabetes and a few other things...and this tells me...it promises me that I am "WONDERFULLY MADE!" THAT is an amazing realization! I have read this verse before, and it never resonated with me as it did today. Thank you for sharing this very fun and cool card, this amazing verse that I won't forget...and your generous and very fun blog candy! Thank you for giving us the chance to win. I already feel like I won today. This verse really touched my Spirit.

Remember~
He IS Able,
