Owl Always Love You

Good morning everyone! I hope your week has been blessed beyond measure! Mine has had it's challenges, but there is SONshine in my life! And, I get to go crafting this week-end! Oh, yeah!!! An out of town trip with my mom to meet Diane of Daydream Designs! And, icing on the cake, I get to meet Vicki, too! We're going to have a blast! I've never gone away for a craft day, people usually come to my house, so I'm UBER EXCITED!!! Ok, I did have something to show you! Here is a set of cards that I made last night using the Owl Always Love You Colored Set from Daydream Designs.

 

 

I borrowed Vicki's idea on her blog and twisted it just a little to make my cards. I do hope you enjoy them! Look for more from me next week!

Just a Swingin'

An oldie but a goodie! I made this card for a coworker for Mother's Day - last year! I used the most adorable little Bugaboo digi called "Deacon Swing"

Candy Cane Elf

Good morning! I'd like to share a simple little card I made using The Digi Garden's Candy Cane Elf. I've put a little fuzz on his hat and top of his stocking and glittered his candy can all up! The paper is from My Mind's Eye called "Be Merry" I got the 6x6 paper pad for my birthday from my wonderful son! Here's my card! Hope you like it!

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made...

Good morning and welcome to another Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge!

My Card:

 

The "creation" on my card is the card base itself. I started with just some basic brown cardstock and went to town!!! I used the lovely image from our sponsor called "Sleeping Flower"

Delight in the little things...

Hi! I wanted to share a "thank you" card that I made for our neighbors who shared with us some of a wonderfully sweet watermelon they had purchased. I thought it fitting to use this watermelon digi from Whimsie Doodles for their card. The other stamp is from the $1 bin at Michaels.

It's FALL y'all!

Good morning dear friends!

 

Today's challenge at the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge blog is to "Make a Harvest card or Fall/Autumn"

 

Our scripture for this week is Galatians 6:9 "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up." Love that verse! It says to me, "if you work hard and not get bored or tired of doing what is good and pleasing to the Lord and don't give up cause no one is responding, KEEP DOING IT and you will be blessed when God says time time is right (harvest)"

Good morning! Today I'd like to share with you a card that I made using the Sunshine & Rain digi set and the Sunshine & Rain sentiment set by Daydream Designs. I also used the Caribbean Craze digi paper set for paper piecing. I love these new sets! They are so much fun to work with and there is such a variety of things you can do with them! OH! And there are some fun new digi paper sets that just came out recently, too! I'm having too much fun with them and you'll get to see some of the work I've done soon! Ok, back to my card for today! The Digi Garden...

EXCITING NEWS!!! As you may have noticed on my side bar, I am now a "Digi Garden Diva"!!! These digi stamps by The Digi Garden are UBER ADORABLE!!! I'm so honored to be a part of this team! There is also a customer challenge blog where you can enter your creations and win fun stuff! 

Today I'd like to showcase my first card! It's a shaped card using Princess Charlotte from the Princess Collection.

What do you think?

I used my copics to color her and stickles on her dress and pearls for her earrings, bracelet & the front of her dress. I'm so excited about this card, that I've already got another one in the works! I'll probably be showing it next week!

My Card:

This awesome tag and party hat are showcasing Daydream Designs new "PARTY TIME" collection! I paper-pieced the hat, I added the hat and balloon to my digital paper to make a design on the paper then I traced them with stickles, the tag...I used the Party Time Sentiments "happy" and "birthday" and placed them over the sentiment that was already there, so that it would say "Happy Birthday" I got some washi tape from the LSS yesterday, that is the yellow with white dots on my card. All the digi papers are by Sugar Pop Sweet Designs. I used little white poms on the left side! I can't belive I finally used them!! :)
