Good morning and happy Sunday to you! It's time for another Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge!
Are you ready????
Our hostess today is is the lovely Traci and her challenge is to "build up your card: by adding layers, paper tole, paper piecing, stacking flowers...you name it!"
Our verse for inspiration is Ephesians 4:29 " Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

Our sponsor this week is Tami Mayberry. Don't forget to stop by her blog and let her know how much you appreciate her sponsoring our SSiC challenge this week!
I wanted to get a true meaning of "paper tole" and the definition from stampin.com is this: "Paper tole is an art technique in which part or all of an image is raised from the surface to give a 3 dimensional effect which enhances the natural shape of the image." I had been asked by a friend to make card using this florally fross image she found and I thought it would be perfect for this challenge!
Here is the full card, face front:
Now, here's the "paper tole" part, the view from the side:
See how the tulips are raised one level and the lillies are raised 2 levels? IRL it looks really cool!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! May your week be greatly blessed!

Hi Helen! Great job on the paper tole! I was never quite sure what that was either! Your explanation and example are perfect! Very pretty...I'm sure your friend will love it.
Have a blessed week!

I love the look of paper tole. I remember doing it in the 70's with my friends with wrapping paper. What a lot of work you have done to make this stunning paper tole cross. Great job. I hope you are having a blessed week!
Beautiful example and description of paper tole, and I love that you used the cross in your card this week!! Blessings on your week.
Hi Helen - love this pretty card - your layers look great - I am glad you showed the raised up view, I would hate to have missed it! Your details are gorgeous! {{{hugs}}}
