Cards & Prayers

This evening I learned about a couple of children that could really use some huge prayers and encouragement right now. You can read about their stories at Scrap-Creations. Please pray for Ethan and Bella & their families and consider sending them a card or 2, it will sure make their day! I know...

it's been a while and I promise I'll be back soon with a new card or 2 soon, but I wanted to be sure to share something exciting with you that my stampin buddy, Candace, is doing. Today I have a card for you that I created using an image from Isabella's Sketchbook. Isn't it beautiful? She's got many wonderful images that you can find here. She's also got a challenge going on here and she's giving 6 free digi's to the winner! I've paired this image with dp from Cosmo Cricket and Flavio, rhinestones & artificial flowers from Michaels, sentiment by Hero Arts and I used stickles on the red/orange flowers in the image.


I'm also entering this in the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge, which is to make a Mother's Day card. This challenge ends tonight at midnight, but check back tomorrow to see the challenge for next week. There will also be some inspiration for your day there, too! Check it out and be blessed!

LaLa Land Challenge

This week's challenge at La-la Land Crafts is to make a card using the "shabby chic" style. Making this style of card is becoming easier as more paper and embellishments already come in this style. For my card, I used sitting Lala. This time, I left her hair alone!

Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge

Here's the card I made for this week's Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge. The challenge was to use flowers on your card. I found this fun saying and wanted to use it, but didn't have an image with pjs, then I remembered that I had this image from Mo's Digital pencil and it worked out perfect! I used fun flock on her shoes to make them look like slippers and used stickles on the little crowns on her top. I think she's just adorable!

Gettin' Scrappy with Lala Land...take 3

Yes, one more for the Lala Land "scrappy" challenge, but I think it's the last! lol This was actually the first one I made! It's featuring Sitting Lala (have you noticed the hair alterations on the last 2 cards? Don't know what's up with that, but I wanted them with short hair, so now I'm the official "Lala Hairdresser" and yes, I named myself that!) This time I know the paper came from the dollar store, only because I remember using it! I used stickles to make the lines sparkle as well as some of the dots. The sentiment, flowers & rhinestones are from Michaels.

Since I used "bling" on this card, I'm going to enter it in the KLSNS "Bling it on" challenge.
