Letters to Lindsey

I'd like to share something very special with you today. My husband and I are involved in a busines called "LIFE" and it's amazingly wonderful! We so enjoy sharing an "out of the box" idea with other people along with helping people and ourselves grow to become better people. I've got a link on my sidebar where you can check out LIFE, but what I want to share with you today is a blog of a lady we've met throughout our journey. She speaks at the conferences we go to and she has an incredible story of overcoming difficult and even life threatening issues. I believe that God has put her and her stories in my life for a reason and I want to share her with all of you! Her name is Terri Brady and her blog is called Letters to Lindsey. In her blog you'll find inspirational stories along with the funniest stories of her children and situations they have been in. This card was made from one of the stamps I got for my birthday: Cowgirl Marci by Lala Land Crafts. I'm so in love with her boots! lol

I used copics for her skin and prisma colored pencils for the rest. Enoy!

Sons & "The Right Girl"

My husband sent this to me today. It reminded us of our 17 year old son and his struggle with "finding the right girl" and being "normal" I'm so glad I have something to say to him now that will mean a lot to him and his future wife & family.

Cupcake Stands

Aren't these darling?!? They are little cupcake stands that I made from cardstock using my nestabilities in my cuttlebug and by using my Scor-Buddy to score the lines for the column. i used just a little scalloped punch for the bottom and I used liquid pearls in white for the scallops on the top. The cake is a Hostess Ding-Dong with a little silk flower stuck in it. I loved how these came out and they are uber easy & quick to make!

Wow..

I can't believe that it's been almost 3 months since I've posted anything on my blog! I'm so sorry! The holidays got really busy for me and I neglected doing several things I love so that I could make sure to get everything done in time for Christmas! On top of that, I lost my camera cord, so I didn't take pictures either! I WILL start crafting again soon! I have plans to have a crafting party toward the end of February, so I'm planning that and I will post pictures as I make the items we'll be making at this party. Please, STAY TUNED! Don't count me out just yet! I'll be back soon!!!
