Kim's birthday card

Hi! Today I have a birthday card to share with you that I made for a lady I work with. I didn't use any stamped images on the outside, so it's a little different than I normally make, but I saw this idea on pintrest (yes, my new favorite place to be!) and I thought it would be cute and fun to make. It actually turned out to be super easy, too! You can't really see it all, but I used stickles on all the little dots on the patterend paper. Enjoy!

Wedding Card for Meg

Today I'm sharing with you the wedding card I made for Meg's wedding. She's a lovely girl that works with my husband. Her wedding reception was soooooo much fun! They had a guy in a gorilla costume come out shortly after the dancing got started. It was hilarious! I'm entering her card in the sketch challenge at Sketches by Carly. Enjoy!

Ruffle Card

Oh! My friend, Erin, bought me this GORGEOUS ruffled shower curtain and I wanted to give her a special thank you card that was also ruffled. It took me some time to finally come up with the concept of how I was going to accomplish this, along with the idea of what to use. I wanted white, but couldn't find it anywhere! So, I decided to use purple, since they are K-State fans (trust me, it greatly pained the red & blue KU fan in me to make this card purple!) It turned out very pretty! I discovered a new love for rubber cement in the process, too! :) Enjoy!

Easter Votives

Good morning! Last night I FINALLY got to visit my craft room and get something made! It was such a wonderful time! I've missed creating with paper so much, but I've needed to put it aside for a while to focus on some other habits I needed to develop...I don't really like making myself be disciplined, but once you've got those things down, it's easy and I've found that I have way more time to relax because I'm not always stressed about getting things done! Anyway! On to my creations... I wanted to make a little gift for a couple of friends, so I saw some little votive holders out there and thought it was an amazing idea! I took the instructions for these little tissue holders and just altered the size a bit to make these votive holders. I decorated them up a bit more than I normally would have so that I could enter them in the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challange this week. Here are a couple different views of the holders. Sorry they are missing the votives! Must pick those up at lunch today! Enjoy!

Letters to Lindsey

I'd like to share something very special with you today. My husband and I are involved in a busines called "LIFE" and it's amazingly wonderful! We so enjoy sharing an "out of the box" idea with other people along with helping people and ourselves grow to become better people.
